MANDATE STATEMENT

Put science into climate action through research, education, and outreach that protects the health of people most vulnerable to climate change — at every level: individuals, health care systems, communities and cities, and national and global policy.

Enroll 240 COPD patients across 3 Boston-area sites to test whether in-home HEPA filtration reduces exacerbations.

HEALTH CARE SYSTEMS
Climate MD + Frontline Clinic Resilience

Deploy climate-resilience playbooks to 40 FQHCs and train 1,200 clinicians on climate-and-health curricula.

COMMUNITIES AND CITIES
ACRES · Mystic River Watershed + C-EARTH heat interventions

Cumulative-impact monitoring across 21 environmental-justice census tracts; heat-stress interventions in Boston, South Africa, Madagascar.

NATIONAL AND GLOBAL POLICY
CHAIR-India + Climate-Smart Public Health (Madagascar/Nepal)

Link environmental exposure data to national health datasets in India, Madagascar, and Nepal; produce benefit-cost analyses to inform policy.
